Game Reviews Hub started in a small flat in Perth back in 2022. Two friends were tired of reading shallow lists of "top 100 games" that all read the same. They wanted a place that picked fewer titles and said something useful about each one.
The first posts were just plain notes shared in a group chat. Friends started asking for more, so we built a simple site and kept going. We focused on racing and driving games because that is what we played most on the train, the bus and the couch.
Since then the team has grown a little and the catalog has stayed deliberately small. We test on mid-range Android phones because that is what most readers actually use. We say no to games that hide their costs or push aggressive ads.
Looking ahead, we want to add more categories — puzzle, sports and casual titles — while keeping the same plain, honest tone. The goal is the same as day one: help people find a game they will genuinely enjoy, without wasting their data or their time.
